Imagine this. you're passing through a dull passage on a blustery night with the glare from downpour and headlights making it hard to decide. What if your car could see for you and detect a motorcyclist who’s waiting out the rain on the side of the road within the tunnel? Well, the great news is that the mobility tech company, Magna, is the first company to style a digital radar technology that will just do that.ICON Radar offers drivers an extra layer of safety and security on the road. Your car might have already got sensors that flash in your car mirror when a car is in your blind spot, or that beep when someone passes behind you in a very parking zone. ICON Radar takes this sort of vehicle-sensing technology to an entirely new level. It can scan a car’s environment 50 times faster than the blink of an individual's eye. and since it’s digital, the signal is certain to be strong and reliable — like cell phones once they shifted from using analog signals to digital ones. A vehicle within Radar can really check the climate around your vehicle in four aspects: distance, tallness, profundity, and speed. That helps it see objects like a shredded tire on the road before you, or that motorcyclist hiding from the rain in this dark tunnel. When obstacles are detected, drivers get an alert so that they can take a maneuver and safely steer beyond the danger. This technology can detect an object just 12 inches high from 164 feet away, a pedestrian quite a field length down the road, and another car sooner than you from over three football fields away. It also can separate objects and detect if an individual or bicyclist is next to a guardrail or a motorbike in between two semi-trucks. We can all utilization a few assistance remaining protected on the streets. Magna is bringing new technology to the road to try and do just that as we head down the trail toward full autonomy.
